Santa's Secret Shop was a huge success. We would like to thank all of the parents and teachers that came out to help as well as the parents of Arbutus Elementary School for attending and making it a success! We couldn't have these events without the terrific support we get from the parents.

The yearbook development is underway. If you have pictures from field trips or school events and you would like to submit them for entry into the yearbook, you may email them to aesyearbook@yahoo.com or send them in an envelope marked yearbook. Please include the name or names of the children in the pictures and where it took place. Thank You!

Target participates in a program to benefit the school, "Take Charge of Education". Our school code is 57626 and as of August 2009 they have given us $3,660.03.

If you do your grocery shopping at Giant you can register for "A+ Bonus Bucks". It's super easy. Just visit their website www.giantfood.com or visit the customer service counter. Our school number is 01546. So far this year we have earned $218.68.

The next PTA meeting will be held on Monday, February 1st at 6:00 pm. It's a new year and we would love to see some new faces or ideas! If you can't make a meeting but have a few ideas, please feel free to email or call.
